Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito received the Judge Carol Los Mansmann Award for Distinguished Public Service. The award was presented jointly by several friends of Judge Mansmann. Chief Judge Anthony Scirica and Justice Alito’s wife, Martha-Ann Alito, also made comments. A video presentation illustrating Justice Alito’s life was shown. In his speech Justice Alito reminisced about his experiences working for 15 years with Judge Mansmann and praised her as one of the top federal judges of the 20th century.
