Thereafter, the Senate proceeded to executive session to consider nominations. The Senate confirmed the nomination of Lawrence Joseph O' Neill, of California, to be U.S. District Judge and of Gregory Kent Frizzell, of Oklahoma, to be U.S. District Judge.

Thereafter, the Senate resumed consideration of H.R. 2, the Minimum Wage bill.
