An Armed Forces Full Honor Review was held for retiring Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld at the Pentagon Mall Terrace. President Bush, Vice President Cheney, and General Pace praised the secretary’s service to the U.S. during his tenure. Secretary Rumsfeld reviewed the Honor Guard and addressed those gathered to pay tribute to him. There was a 19-gun salute in his honor.
