The Treasury Department Office of Thrift Supervision held a forum on the national housing market and consumer issues. Rep. Michael Oxley, chairman, and Rep. Barney Frank, ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee, spoke about the state of the housing industry, as well as financial policy and federal legislation affecting the industry.
