In the keynote address, Justice Breyer spoke about civic engagement among young people, encouraging them to participate in their communities. He talked about the daily tasks of judges and lawyers, the study of law, the different levels of courts in the U.S., and some recent Supreme Court cases. He responded to questions from members of the audience, including by video conference from students in New York City and Richmond, Virginia.
