Minister Alireza delivered the opening keynote address on the first day of the 15th Annual Arab-U.S. Policymakers Conference. Moderated by Ms. Al-Shuaiby, the panelists talked about the status of the Saudi Arabia-U.S. relationship, examining the implications for interests and policies. Topics included the history of the relationship, educational progress, investment opportunities, industry, oil production, Muslim holy sites, the relationship with the rest of the Arab-Muslim world, the Saudi non-recognition of Israel, and cultural differences.
