The House Administration Committee held a hearing on electronic voting machine verification, security, and paper trails. Witnesses testified about the reliability of various electronic voting devices, changes in voting procedures resulting from the Help America Vote Act of 2002, as well as both problems and successes in test uses of electronic voting machines.
