House International Relations Committee Chairman Henry Hyde spoke after he was presented with the Nance Medal of Freedom by John Dodd, president of The Jesse Helms Center. The program featured remarks by Vice President Cheney before the presentation. The program also included the showing of a tribute video, an invocation, and the national anthem sung by the National Christian Choir.
