Professor Brinkley talked about his book, The Great Deluge: Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, published by William Morrow. He talked about his experiences in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina and about the problems of restoring New Orleans. After his presentation he responded to audience members' questions.
