Stephen Slivinski talked about his book Buck Wild: How Republicans Broke the Bank and Became the Party of Big Government, published by Nelson Current. He said that Republicans have abandoned the limited-government principles that elected them to power in the first place and planted the seeds of their own undoing in the coming elections. He was joined in discussion by columnist Bob Novak who talked about the history of the Republican Party, pork barrel spending and other topics. After their presentations both men responded to audience members' questions.
