Robert Spencer talked about his observations of the religion of Islam. He took part in a recent documentary by Quixotic Media, Islam: What the West Needs to Know, and said the film examines the religion of Islam, its main tenants and its relationship with other religions. Several clips from the film were shown, including clips in the documentary of President Bush, President Clinton and others describing Islam as a peaceful religion. Spencer strongly disagreed with these sentiments and quoted extensively from the Koran to show that portions of the holy book of Islam mandate violence and explained that the West should be very concerned about the spread of international jihad Islam. Mr. Spencer has written several books on Islam.
