Professor Rosen talked about the Bush administration’s proposal to revise military commissions in accordance with the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Hamdan v. Rumsfeld. In June, the Court ruled that the special military commissions establsihed by the President to try Guantánamo Bay detainees violated U.S and international law. He also talked about his book, The Most Democratic Branch: How the Courts Serve America, published by Oxford University Press, and responded to telephone calls and electronic mail.
