Secretary Chertoff spoke about homeland security operations, protecting critical infrastructure, emergency preparedness plans, and efforts to improve emergency response capability during natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrina. He also talked about efforts to combat terrorism and building a comprehensive information-sharing network. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience.
