Senator John Kerry delivered the commencement address to the 2006 graduating class of Kenyon College on the lawn of Samuel Mather Hall. He mentioned the 2004 presidential election in which Kenyon and other Ohio voters helped bring him very close to winning the presidency. Other topics include the excellence of Kenyon and its alumni, and several global issues. Senator and Mrs. Kerry were both awarded honorary degrees.
