Michael Crowley and Matthew Continetti talked about fundraising, political lobbying efforts, and the practices of Jack Abramoff in lobbying on behalf of Indian tribal interests. Mr. Abramoff plead guilty to charges of fraud, corruption, and tax evasion in a federal court and earlier in the day he also entered a guilty plea in Florida for wire fraud. Guests explained the methods used by Mr. Abramoff to funnel money from his clients to other personal projects and potential political fallout for several members of Congress and their staff. 

Video footage from the Senate Indian Affairs Committee hearings on the matter, including several of Mr. Abramoff’s associates, was shown. Guests also responded to comments and questions about the scandal and related issues.
