Footage shows various activities in the Rotunda from approximately 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Following the public viewing the casket was carried to a hearse by a military honor guard, where the cortege then left for the Metropolitan A.M.E. Church for a memorial service.

For a second day, Ms. Parks was honored as mourners passed by her remains lying in repose in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda. Among those in attendance were government officials, dignitaries, civil rights leaders, and members of the general public. She was the 29th person, and first woman, to be given such an honor.
