Outside of the Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing room, Ms. Long and Ms. Thernstrom spoke about United States Supreme Court nominee Judge John Roberts. They commented on the partisanship of the U.S. Senators and Ms. Long said that it was unlikely that Judge Roberts would receive a single vote from the Democratic Party. They also responded to questions and comments from reporters.
