Ms. Copp spoke about the decision by the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission to not close Ellsworth Air Force Base (SD). She discussed the role that Dyess Air Force Base (TX) would have had if Ellsworth had been closed. She also talked about the preparations the community had made to accommodate all 67 B1 Bombers.
