Kenneth Tomlinson was interviewed about the future of public television and international broadcasting. Mr. Tomlinson talked about his career in public service. He was elected chair of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting board in September 2003 and chairman of the U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors in August 2002. Mr. Tomlinson talked about the structure of public broadcasting and how it is funded. He discussed his efforts to provide political balance to the programming. He reacted to several video clips of Bill Moyers and one of Pat Mitchell as well as to quotes from news stories. close
