Vice President Dick Cheney spoke at the presentation of the 18th annual Gerald R. Ford Journalism awards to Ms. Calmes and Ms. Robinson. Vice President Cheney served as President Ford’s chief of staff. He talked briefly about the Ford legacy and then answered questions on a number of issues, including current Bush administration policies, from the audience.
