Publishers of translated books, booksellers, and literary critics discussed the problems of publishing, marketing, and selling works in translation, including reversing the trend of fewer translated works being published. The panelists talked about the value of publishing translated books, the difficulty of getting reviews and other media attention for these books, and the financial loss that is normally associated with publishing them.
