The American Conservative Union hosted a dinner in tribute to House Majority Leader Tom Delay, honoring his years of service in the House of Representatives and work on behalf of conservative causes. In his remarks, Representative DeLay talked about Republican legislative victories, the party's agenda, and said that the Democratic Party was a party of "no ideas, no leadership, no agenda, and " no class." A brief video presentation was made prior to Representative DeLay's remarks and following the program cameras remained trained on the crowd and dais as guests posed for photo opportunities and conversed with one another.
