Ray Bourhis talked about his book Insult to Injury: Insurance Fraud, and the Big Business of Bad Faith, published by Berrett-Koehler Publishers. In the book, he argued that insurance providers are manipulating clients. The author explained that low-level employees, citizens with disabilities and victims of natural disasters are at high risk for becoming insurance fraud victims. Mr. Bourhis also offered ideas on how to reform current insurance policies. Following his presentation, the author responded to questions and comments from members of the audience.
