Paul Krugman talked about his book The Great Unraveling: Losing Our Way in the New Century, published by W. W. Norton. He also talked about the results of the 2004 presidential elections, the state of the liberal and conservative movements in the U.S., and prospects for policy issues under a second bush administration. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience.

Additionally the program included an introduction to the book fair, scenes of activities at the fair, and Mr. Krugman’s responses to telephone calls from viewers.
