Prior to the presidential debate live interviews were conducted in the “spin” room and in the auditorium. Video clips were shown of some earlier outdoor interviews on the campus of Washington University. 

Ms. Cleamer, an audience member, was interviewed. She also attended the 2000 presidential debate.
