In his first talk to the people of Venezuela following a successful recall election, President Chavez participated in the first of a nationally broadcast program in which he answered questions from citizens. The program was to be the first in a series called “Hello President.” Among the topics he addressed were improvements to the nation’s infrastructure, the state of the economy, and issues of social justice.
