Writer David Dunbar interviewed Lee Stringer about his second memoir Sleepaway School: Stories from a Boy’s Life, published by Seven Stories Press. Mr. Stringer recounted his coming of age years at a school for “at risk” children. He described the realization of self that came from his time at this school and the important themes of family, society, and faith that emerged from his experiences. The program included readings of excerpts from the book by Lee Stringer and screenwriter Ross Klavan, as well as a brief question and answer session. close
