Mr. Cramer spoke about his book, How Israel Lost: The Four Questions, published by Simon and Schuster. In the book, the author addresses what he believes are the reasons for Israel’s declining support in the U.S. and around the world. He argues that the policies supported by orthodox Jews, such as allowing Jewish settlements in the West Bank and Gaza, have made peace between the Israelis and Palestinians almost impossible. He also criticizes Ariel Sharon, Yasser Arafat, Hamas, Arab leaders, and U.S. officials for failing to help the Palestinian people. Following prepared remarks, Mr. Cramer responded to questions from the audience.
