Prime Minister Ahern presented President Bush with a basket of shamrocks in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. He also thanked the president for his support for the peace process in Northern Ireland. President Bush thanked the prime minister, and both leaders talked about the strong ties between the U.S. and Ireland.
