Former Senator Nunn spoke about preventing weapons proliferation and threats to national security posed by weapons development programs. Among the topics he addressed were security threats from developing nations, regional conflicts with global impacts, and the ability of terrorist groups and rogue regimes to develop chemical, nuclear and biological weapons. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience.
