Former President George H.W. Bush spoke at a luncheon for U.S. Senate candidate and former presidential candidate Lamar Alexander. Mr. Alexander, who served in the first Bush administration as Education Secretary, introduced the former president at the luncheon, and spoke briefly about his experiences as secretary. President Bush spoke about Mr. Alexander’s accomplishments when he served on the Cabinet.
