Mr. El-Nawawy and Professor Iskandar sat down with Ms. Myers to discuss their book. In it, the authors chronicle the rise of the Qatar-based Al-Jazeera Arab news network to a major player in the global media arena. Mr. El-Nawawy is previously the author of The Israeli-Egyptian Peace Process in the Reporting for Western Journalists, published by Westview Press. After the presentation the authors answered questions from members of the audience.
