Mr. Brown talked about his nonfiction books for children. His most recent book is A Voice from the Wilderness: Anna Howard Shaw about suffragette Anna Howard Shaw, published by Houghton Mifflin. His earlier books include Uncommon Traveler, about early female explorer Mary Kingsley, and One Giant Leap, about astronaut Neil Armstrong. After discussing his books, Mr. Brown answered questions from members of the audience, students at Martin Avenue School.
