The panelists discussed Keeping the Peace, the final volume of the President Dwight D. Eisenhower papers which covers his second term as president. The volume is published by Johns Hopkins University. After their presentations the panelists answered questions from members of the audience. 
General Goodpaster was a staff secretary to President Dwight Eisenhower and later became NATO’s supreme Allied commander for Europe and commander in chief of the United States European Command.
