David Adler talked about his latest “Picture Book” biography for young people, B. Franklin, Printer, published by Holiday House. He said that as a “true Renaissance man” Benjamin Franklin was a printer, writer, scientist, inventor, politician and public servant. The author described Franklin’s writing, inventions, scientific experiments and his personal relationships. Mr. Adler also explained to the students his personal reasons for becoming a writer. A question and answer period followed the presentation. close
