Mr. Soros discussed his book Open Society: Reforming Global Capitalism, published by PublicAffairs. In his book and talk, Mr. Soros calls for an alliance of open societies designed to advance freedom and democracy, both within nations and on a global scale. He also examines the prevailing international economic system and outlines some of the major problems with that system. After his presentation, Mr. Soros answered questions from members of the audience.
