Reports Filed: Reports were filed today as follows.
H. Res. 599, waiving a requirement of clause 6(a) of rule XIII with respect to consideration of certain resolutions reported from the Committee on Rules (H. Rept. 106-909);
H. Res. 600, waiving a requirement of clause 6(a) of rule XIII with respect to consideration of certain resolutions reported from the Committee on Rules (H. Rept. 106-910);
S. 1653, to reauthorize and amend the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Establishment Act, amended (H. Rept. 106-911);
H.R. 2570, to require the Secretary of the Interior to undertake a study regarding methods to commemorate the national significance of the United States roadways that comprise the Lincoln Highway (H. Rept. 106-912); and

Energy and Water Appropriations 2001 Conference Report: The House agreed to the conference report on H.R. 4733, making appropriations for energy and water development for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2001, by a yea and nay vote of 301 yeas to 118 nays, Roll No. 501.
H. Res. 598, the rule that waived points of order against the conference report was agreed to by a yea and nay vote of 231 yeas to 186 nays, Roll No. 500.
Agriculture Appropriations: The House disagreed to the Senate amendment to H.R. 4461, making appropriations for Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration and Related Agencies programs for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2001 and agreed to a conference. Appointed as conferees: Chairman Young of Florida and Representatives Skeen, Walsh, Dickey, Kingston, Nethercutt, Bonilla, Latham, Emerson, Kaptur, DeLauro, Hinchey, Farr, Boyd, and Obey.
By a yea and nay vote of 409 yeas with none voting ``nay'', Roll No. 502, agreed to the Kaptur motion to instruct conferees to hold a full and adequate public meeting at which managers have the opportunity to debate and vote on all matters in disagreement between the two Houses, and be instructed to fully resolve all differences between H.R. 4461 and the Senate amendment as part of this conference.
Late Reports--Committees on Conference: Conferees received permission to have until midnight tonight, Sept. 28, 2000, to file conference reports on H.R. 4578, Interior and Related Agencies Appropriations and H.R. 3244, Trafficking Victims Protection Act.
