Fred Anderson talked about his book Crucible of War: The Seven Years' War and the Fate of Empire in British North America, 1754-1766, published by Alfred A. Knopf. The book details the world-wide conflict between Britain and France, popularly known as the French and Indian War in the United States. The author states in the book that the conflict changed the perception of the American colonists towards Britain and provided valuable battle experience for future Revolutionary commanders such as George Washington.
