Mr. Choate spoke to reporters about a federal judge’s decision to recognize him as the legitimate chairman of the Reform Party. Former chairman Jack Gargan had gone to federal court seeking reinstatement as the rightful chairman after he was ousted during the party’s national meeting in February. Following his remarks he answered questions from the reporters.
