Ruth Rosen discussed her latest book , The World Split Open: How the Modern Women’s Movement Changed America, published by Viking Press. The author takes the reader through the history of the women’s movement, from a time when women weren’t allowed to serve on juries, drink at bars, or apply for loans, to modern day, when women are Supreme Court Justices and hurricanes are no longer titled strictly with women’s names. She also responded to audience comments and questions. close
