Mr. Short talked about his book Mao: A Life, published by Henry and Company. The book is a biography of the late Chinese premier and leader, Mao Tse-Tung. It follows his life from his humble beginnings, through the Chinese civil war, and into the communist era. He also spoke about the research involved and about Chinese culture.
