Mr. Huber talked about his book Hard Green: Saving the Environment from the Environmentalists (A Conservative Manifesto), published by Basic Books. The book refutes the "soft green" environmental agenda set out by Al Gore in his book Earth in the Balance, proposing a return to the conservationist ideals of Theodore Roosevelt. He talked about wilderness preservation, effects of technology and others. After his prepared remarks he took questions from the audience.
