Six Republican presidential candidates debated various issues of the campaign, include taxes, social security, and immigration, prior to the Iowa caucuses. They answered questions sent to the Des Moines Register by Iowa residents and from students in the audience. The candidates also questioned each other. They had a few heated discussions with each other about topics such as Social Security.
