In the twenty-sixth in a series on American presidents Scholars and others discussed the life and career of William Howard Taft. Among the subjects addressed were Taft's career as a politician and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, his family life, and his legal career. During the program various sites and memorabilia relating to Taft were shown and two descendents were interviewed. Guests responded to viewer comments and questions.
