Ms. Caroli talked about her book The Roosevelt Women, published by Basic Books. The book examines the lives of nine women of President Theodore Roosevelt's family, from his mother to the present generation in one of the most influential families in American politics. She talked about the independence and outspokenness of the women in the Roosevelt family. After her prepared remarks she answered questions from members of the audience.
