Participants talked about the threat of biological and chemical terrorism and the medical and public health responses to a terrorist attack in the U.S. Noting that the first response to any such attack would be by emergency room professionals, they discussed programs to train these professionals and means to provide vaccines and treat injuries. After their remarks they answered questions from the audience.
