President Reagan testified in the trial of John Poindexter on charges related to the Iran-Contra scandal. The testimony, videotaped on February 16, 1990, in the U.S. District Courthouse in Los Angeles, was released after being shown to the jury in the U. S. District Court for the District of Columbia on March 21, 1990.
Technical difficulties resulted in the loss of picture only for 10 minutes.
