Edward Renehan talked about the relationship between Theodore Roosevelt and his four sons. Following their father's military values, all four sons fought in World War I. By the end of the war, one had died and two were critically wounded. Mr. Renehan focused on the role of Theodore Roosevelt's idealization of combat on the life choices of his children. Following his remarks, he answered questions from members of the audience, which included direct descendants of President Roosevelt. Following the discussion, the author was shown signing books and talking to members of the audience, including Mrs. Dworkin, President Roosevelt's great-granddaughter. Mr. Reneham and Mrs Dworkin were also interviewed about topics such as other biographies of President Roosevelt.
