Mr. Francis spoke about how the U.S. Constitution was permeated with slavery. He explained that various states had laws discriminating against African-Americans even into the Twentieth Century. He discussed the idea that the Declaration of Independence states that "all men are created equal" and the problems he sees with that statement. After his presentation Mr. Francis responded to audience members' questions.
