The Traditional Values Coalition held a news conference to state their opposition to two pieces of legislation, one dealing with homosexual employment and the other with hate crimes. Several persons spoke about how others have received them because of their open opposition to homosexuality. Two attorneys also spoke about the problems with the vague nature of the anti-discrimination bill and the need to protect freedom of speech. They also took questions from the audience.
